And the most beautiful woman in the universe is: Jimena Navarrete of Mexico who has been crowned Miss Universe 2010.

The 22-year-old from Guadalajara scooped the title over 82 other contestants and countries.

How that qualifies or constitutes a universe beats me, them again these beauties and their judges have never been sharpest tools in the shed.

Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillipps of Jamaica was named first runner-up and Miss Australia's Jesinta Campbell nabbed second runner-up.

Navarrete wins a whole bunch of good girly stuff, including a year's supply of hair products and makeup; designer shoe, swimwear and dress collections; and a scholarship from the New York Film Academy for either its filmmaking or acting program.
