Rivers Cuomo has revealed that the new Weezer album will be different from the band's previous releases.
The frontman said the group will leave their pop influences behind and return to their rock roots for the record.
It was recently reported that Cuomo collaborated with Ryan Adams on a song for Weezer's upcoming album.
