Celebz in jail get preferential treatment or not?

Anyone who says that jailed celebrities—your Lindsay Lohan, Alexis Neiers, lil wayne—are treated just like everyone else in jail is lying. Unless you think that skipping strip searches and lounging about in your own private cell is somehow normal.

And it is not, according to jailers and lawyers. It’s rare for prisoners to get their own cells but celebs always do for their own safety and medical attention is always available for them.

In other words, Paris Hilton's jail freakout would likely merit her immediate medical attention; your own ordinary-person jail freakout, however, would not.
But what about length of stay?

Depends-Paris Hilton got a longer than normal sentence, but sometimes they do get shortened-So if Lohan does indeed serve only a few weeks out of a 90-day sentence, don't be surprised.

When Nicole Richie was sentenced to 96 hours in connection with a DUI, she did even less than 10 percent of that sentence; she was out in 82 minutes.

And then they say we are all the same.

Sadly the same cannot be said for our Kenyan brothers and sisters
