Muse doing their bit fot Haiti

Muse have announced that they will donate the drumkit from their 2006-2008 world tour to the Haiti earthquake auction.

Acts such as Florence And The Machine, Foals, Klaxons and DJ Shadow are among the artists to have already laid on items for the online auction, which is being organised by Oxfam.

Damon Albarn has pledged to write a special piece of music for one lucky bidder, while Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner will give away the white Stratocastor seen in the video of 'I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor'.

Other new additions to the auction include the guitar used by Mark Ronson in the video for his cover of The Zutons' 'Valerie' as well as an exlcusive print from artist Damien Hirst.

The auction is being held of the charity's official website and closes on February 2. All proceeds will go to Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
