Wyclef not eligible to run for presidency?

Is wyclef jean already out of the presidential race?

Well, Sean Penn must be pleased if he is.

Wyclef Jean's presidential run in Haiti hit its first—and, possibly, last—major obstacle last week when he reportedly failed to make the list of legally approved candidates for the Nov. 28 election.

So is that it?

Not really, despite lying low after death threats, jean says he is optimistic he will make the list.

However in order to run for president you have to have lived in Haiti for 5 years, which Jean hasn’t but has visited frequently and single handedly raised millions for the earth quaked hit region.

But if that’s enough to let him be president remains to be seen.
