Jay z is the richest rapper

Jay-Z has topped the list of richest rappers in the world from Forbes magazine.
He made $35 million in the last 12 months.

He beatsformer leader P Diddy, who earned $30 million over the same period.

Kanye West was listed as the third highest earner with $25 million, followed by Akon and Lil Wayne in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Eminem, Pharrell Williams and Timbaland also featured in the top ten.

Jay-Z's earnings are said to be considerably less than his wife Beyoné's, who reportedly raked in $87 million in the last 12 months.
