Adam Lambert Lands On Top Of Rolling Stone Readers' Poll

Adam Lambert has won the best artist vote on the Rolling Stone 2009 Readers Poll.

Pearl Jam's 'The Fixer' was named the year's Top Single and Pearl Jam's Backspacer beat Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown to the Best Album crown, but the rockers came in second to Lambert in the Best Artist vote.

Lady Gaga came in third, ahead of Kings of Leon and Green Day.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa's 'The Fame Monster' was voted the third best album of 2009. U2's 'No Line On The Horizon' and Animal Collective's 'Merriweather Post Pavilion' rounded out the top five.

Last week, U2 claimed the top spots on the publication's editor poll. No Line On The Horizon was the top album pick, while the Irish rockers' Moment of Surrender scored the Best Song of 2009 honor.

Now if only Lambert wasn't gay, he would have made me so Gay...sigh...
