Leonardo DiCaprio likes his model girlfriends to be exotic -- and apparently his pets too. The actor recently purchased a 10-year-old Sulcata tortoise at the North American Reptile Breeders Conference and Trade Show.
The irony? Commitment-phobe Leo (who has been reluctant to tie the knot with loves Gisele Bundchen and Bar Refaeli) was anxious to take on the tortoise -- even though it is expected to live 70 more years!
Leo reportedly asked for the biggest tortoise they had, and received a 38-pounder. However, he could grow up to 200 pounds. The price tag? $400.
Guess they have 1 thing in common-they are both slow!
