In Touch interviewed a number of celebrity nannies to uncover what A-listers like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Courtney Love are really like behind closed doors. After all, celebrity nannies do more than take care of stars’ pampered children – they know everything that goes on in their homes and with their partners!

The Jolie-Pitt Six Are Hell-Raisers
You’d think that landing a job with Brad and Angelina would be the jackpot of nanny jobs, but a former caretaker to the couple’s six children says the Jolie-Pitt brood is not easy to control. “The kids are wild in the morning, running into Brad and Angelina’s room to attack them, pull her hair and jump on him,” says the nanny, who adds the entire family often sleeps in one big bed, so the kids have become very needy. The Jolie-Pitts’ nanny had to put up with Shiloh’s temper tantrums, which included throwing broccoli at her, and Zahara’s “death stare.” She says: “Zee is the leader of the kids. She’s taught all of them how to act out and get the biggest reactions.”

Kelly Bensimon Is Just As “Batty” As She Seems On TV
When Real Housewives of New York City’s resident airhead Kelly Bensimon hired a nanny in 2009 to watch her children Sea, 12, and Teddy, 10, her neighbors weren’t shy about alerting the new employee to what she’d signed up for. “They said, ‘You’re the fourth person in the last six months to work for her,’” claims the former nanny, adding that she thinks that Kelly is “crazy” and says she’s seen her start her day by spiking her coffee with Patrón tequila.

Madonna Runs A Tight Ship
According to Angela Jacobsen, the former nanny to Madonna’s adopted Malawian son, David, the household follows a strict kosher, macrobiotic diet, which means no salt, sugar or fast food. Madonna’s kids — Lourdes, 13, Rocco, 9, David, 4, and Mercy, 4 — never watch TV, and magazines and newspapers are not permitted in any of the star’s several homes.

Nannies Raise Courtney Love’s Child
It seems like Courtney was fine leaving her daughter in the care of others from the start. “In my opinion, there really wasn’t any parenting involved. She was not ever really there, mentally,” says one of dozens of different nannies who assumed parental responsibilities for Frances’ upbringing.
