Ugandan singer bebe cool has sued the Ugandan Government for the equivalent of 1.5 million shillings as compensation for the injuries he suffered when he was allegedly shot by a Police constable on January the 29th of this year.
Bebe Cool along with his aides who include his bodyguard claim the policeman's actions caused them financial loss, anguish, inconvenience and distress, for which they hold the Government responsible.
The Constable is said to hjave fired over 10 bullets at the Singer and his aides outside a bar and the Police constable has since been charged with attempted murder and is set to face trial .
