We have heard of superstar requests by Western actors but this has to be a first by an African actress.
Famed Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji was not present at the this years AMA Awards because she requested the organizers to charter a Chopper for her in order for her to attend the awards ceremony.
It is said that the organizers saw the request as a joke and thus did not take her seriously until at the last minute when they realized she was dead serious!!
