The Godfather of Genge, Nonini has denied claims that he was jeered off stage by a rowdy crowd at the COPA Coca-Cola under 17 national finals this past Saturday at the City Stadium.

Nonini, spoke to Kiss TVs Hot Source, and said he was given the task of performing during half time of the final match between Nyanza and Nairobi and says he had to cut his performance short as it was time for the 2nd half to begin and there was no jeering done by the crowd.

I also heard from a very valuable source that it had nothing to do with Nonini or his performance and in fact the crowd wanted him to perform some more.

Apparently Lindsay Lohan has finally got the message and moved on from Sam Ronson and has now decided to date celebrity photographer and reality TV star Indrani (Bravo TV?).

The actress has been supposedly secretly seeing Indrani,( real name Julia I. Pal-Chaudhur), since the women worked together on a photoshoot last autumn.

The 36 year old, is coy about the rumours, telling the newspaper the pair has "been spending a lot of time together." But she admits an attraction, adding: "I have never had a relationship with a woman before, but Lindsay is just somebody who I find fascinating, gorgeous and extremely smart, as well as super-hot."

Last night Miss Michigan USA, Rima Fakih, was crowned "Miss USA 2010."

24 year old Lebanese born, Rima graduated from the University of Michigan, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She plans on attending law school.

Plus Rima seems seems to be every man's dream girl. Not only is she beautiful but she enjoys traveling, running, kickboxing and especially likes playing football and watching the NFL.

Let's hope this one doesn't have naked pictures, porn or something equally dodgy to strip her off her title!

Ohio's Senator andit's governor Ted Strickland are seen in the video with other former players, lawyers and fans looking downright pitiful.

I doubt this video will sway Lebron's decision one way or another, but I guess it was worth a try.

Gucci Mane, who was serving a six month sentence for violating his probation, was released this week from Jail.

As he walked out of the jail, he thanked the 50 or so supporters and media saying he made mistakes in his life and he hurt a lot of people who care about him and assured them that wouldn’t happen again.

“I have worked very hard to get past them, but those mistakes have brought me to where I am today, and they will not be repeated,” Gucci stated.

The rapper says that he has learned a lot over the past six months that he was incarcerated and learned a lot from his experience and was able to do a little soul searching.

Gucci Mane says that he’s coming back with a new attitude toward life and his incarceration interrupted a big moment in his career right when his first major label album was releasing.

Gucci Mane says he will make sure to never let this happen again and that he plans on continuing on a positive track and being a role model for not only his fans but for his community.

Ugandan singer Jose Chamelleone is recognized all over East Africa and sometimes even has 3 security personnel with him when he tours.

Ogopa DJ’s recording artist Jaguar is alleged to have come to the rescue of a promoter this past weekend after the Promoters show which featured Jamaican Dancehall artist Kiprich flopped.

The show which was poorly marketed had a poor turnout forcing the bouncers at the venue to allegedly get impatient about their pay which forced the owner to turn to the Ogopa recording artist who bailed him out with 50 thousand to pay for the expenses….

Jaguar however declined to comment on the matter

Walters gets her heart in check

After years of the television grind, Barbara Walters is taking some time off for her health.

she will undergo surgery to replace a faulty heart valve.

on how you can protect your heart's health, recognize symptoms and learn about treatments.

Walters added that she and her doctors decided to go through with the surgery now because she'll be able to take time off to recover during the summer. While she hasn't "felt differently" lately, a test showed that her valves were getting tighter and smaller.

Walters said she anticipates recovery will take at least a month but she expects "to be calling in from time to time."

TMK Wanaume hit Mombasa Big!

Tanzanian hitmakers TMK Wanaume were in Mombasa this past weekend and the “Dar Mpaka Moro” singers threw the crowd at club Lambada into a frenzy when they performed a song they had done with the late Mombasa musician Malcolm P.

The song which is titled “Naomba tupatane pale pale” made audience members shed tears with some demanding that the song be played again which the TMK members obliged performing it three times.

Malcolm P was killed in a road accident early last month.

Chiwawa has confirmed that his new song “strike one” is aimed directly at fellow Rapper Abbas-just as we had assumed!

Chiwawa says his intention in releasing the song is to show him whose boss of the rap game here in Kenya as he says he feels Abbas underestimates all other rappers.

BEBE COOL SUES UGANDAN GOVERNMENT

Ugandan singer bebe cool has sued the Ugandan Government for the equivalent of 1.5 million shillings as compensation for the injuries he suffered when he was allegedly shot by a Police constable on January the 29th of this year.

Bebe Cool along with his aides who include his bodyguard claim the policeman's actions caused them financial loss, anguish, inconvenience and distress, for which they hold the Government responsible.

The Constable is said to hjave fired over 10 bullets at the Singer and his aides outside a bar and the Police constable has since been charged with attempted murder and is set to face trial .

Colin Farrell the Vampire

Colin Farrell is the latest star to take a bite out of the vampire movie craze - he's signed up to play a bloodsucker in a remake of 1985 cult classic Fright Night.

The Irish actor will star alongside Toni Collette and Anton Yelchin in the big screen remake, playing the role made famous by Chris Sarandon in the original.

Singer Shinday of tattuu fame is set to release her first entirely solo video in the next few days.

The singer who released the single “Come back to me” last year which featured the other Tatuu members in the background is now set to release her new single “Ready for Love” which is produced by Producer Ulopa with the video shot by Ogopa.

The Video will premiere right here on KISS-TV in the next few weeks.

NBA STAR IN BRAWL WITH SINGER TID

Tanzanian Basketball star Hasheem Thabeet who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies and was a star player at U-Conn was involved in an altercation this past weekend at a club called Bilicanas which led to him allegedly punching and knocking out singer TID of “Sura Yako” fame.

Reports say that TID was leaving the club talking on his phone when the 7 foot 3 inch NBA center walked up to him and punched him squarely in the mouth knocking him out for a brief moment.

Upon regaining his senses TID is said to have immediately gone to the police and recorded a statement upon which he was given a PF3 form which is the Tanzanian version of a P3 form.

The coolest trend right now is Scrap carding.More and more urban, hip women who sip their cosmos while tapping their Manolos are digging out their years of collected junk like wrapping paper (that they kept cause an ex that meant tons had wrapped his heart in it)and other sentimental odds and ends and are using it constructively to make beautiful cards.

Gone are the days when you you associated scrap booking and carding with your grandma or dedicated mum (who chronicles naked baby pictures and gleefully takes them out to show to prospective boyfriends).

We all collect feel good mementoes and when you run out of space either you trash them or you erm trash them...

But now you can join the oh-so-chic at a scrappy party where all your junk is collected and you make cards or books for a said friend who is either getting married, having a baby or celebrating a divorce (the trendy call them -emancipation parties-they are catching on too and there's nothing better than getting drunk whilst bitchin about a man who caused you NO pain but you can berate anyway:)

Plus getting a gift where so much love and effort has been put in is priceless (well second to the limited edition of Jimmy Choos anyway).

Has Barrack Obama pulled a Tiger?

Well rumors are floating about that in 2004 he had an affair with Vera Baker, who was a campaign aide.

So Is it a smear campaign, or is this really a legitimate claim?

According to reports, Vera Baker was dropped off at a hotel, and a limo driver took Obama to the same hotel later on. It’s also alleged that there was $1 million in hush money transferred.

The Enquirer-who broke the story- said they have the proof they need to indicate that it is the real deal.

This is the same tabloid that usually breaks these scandals and they have usually been corrects, take Sarah Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy, John Edwards’ affair and Tiger’s drama.

But Baker denies the allegations, and Obama, well he hasn’t addressed them as yet...

Jamaican Ragga artist Kip Rich all set for concert in Kenya

So the pretty cool Ragga Kip Rich graced Kiss TV studios today with his entourage for an interview and i have to say i have never wanted to speak 'Jamaican' more.

His lazy drawl and funky accent got my attention and his music will get yours.

He is in Kenya for his Friday May 7 reggae concert to be held at the KICC.

It is dubbed Reggae is Love, and Kip Rich, Eric Smith and Dynamic promise to deliver true ragga.

Plus Kip Rich loves Kenya and said he felt very welcomed here.

Bootyliscious (Well I don’t know if its still cool to use that word) But Ugandan singer Grace Nakimera is facing a possible lawsuit from fellow Ugandan singer Chameleone following her unauthorized use of his name to promote her concert.

The singer who is set to launch her album in a few days reportedly printed out flyers and radio promotions claiming that Bebe Cool and Chameleone would be headlining her show. Chamelleone is said to have already made it clear that he will .

Taiwo Otieno has a brush with angry fans

Kenyan Footballer Taiwo Otieno had a near brush with angry fans this past Monday after fans from his side Luton Town FC stormed the field in anger after his side lost a match to York city players.

According to reports a swarm of Luton fans ran on to the pitch after their side's defeat and charged at the York players were celebrating with their fans. Taiwo and his teammates were however not injured as they were huddled onto the team bus and whisked away

JUDGE LIFTS PREZZO WARRANT

Controversial King of Bling Jackson Ngechu alias Prezzo presented himself in court this past Monday to persuade a magistrate to lift an arrest warrant issued against him. Prezzo told the Magistrate he had fallen ill on the day of prosecution and asked the judge to lift the warrant issued

The cash bail earlier forfeited to the state was reinstated after the magistrate lifted the warrant and Prezzo will now appear in Court on June the 28th although he is expected on June the 4th for a mention.

Kenyan singer Habida of “Sunshine” fame who is due to be a mother soon has taken up a new role, The hitmaker has now taken on a new role as the goodwill ambassador for a campaign that seeks to unite the youth through football.

Habida who is an avid supporter of AFC Leopards and Manchester United attended a seven a side tournament this past weekend which was the first of a series of tournaments aimed at using sports to bring the youth together.
